Cutting Board Maple and Wenge 16″x10″x1/2″

Description

We have 3 options with this beautiful board; Maple and Wenge, Maple and Cherry, and Maple and Walnut.

The Wenge is a super dark brown to almost black and gives a great contrast with the maple

Walnut is just classic with maple with the dark brown

Cherry lightens up the board dramatically and gives you a more modern look

All our Cutting and Charcuterie Boards come with a 2 ounce tin of our board butter for free!

We can do this board in any combination of woods that you desire though.  Just send an email and we can talk about the options.  If your looking for a lighter wood other than maple, Bois D Ark is a pretty yellow wood, Ash, Hickory, and Oak are nice options.  Alder is more of a grayish cream color.  For the darker side Purple Heard is beautiful, Padauk is a beautiful red colored wood.  Pecan is a nice lighter brown.  The combinations are limited only by your tastes.  Price may change depending on the wood selected

Board Color and size may vary slightly due to the nature of the wood used.

Care of your board:  Always hand wash with mild soap and stand it on the edge to dry.  Never submerge your board in water or run it through the dishwasher and do not lay it flat to dry.  Once board is dry it can be stored flat or on edge.  With heavy use, please wipe board down with food grade mineral oil weekly and once a month, use our board butter of other product containing bees wax for more protection.

If you take care of your board, it can be handed down to the next generation as a family heirloom
